  Michael Snyder, Chief Health Information Officer

Mike SnyderMichael Snyder is the Chief Health Information Officer for Planned Systems International. He serves as the senior advisor to the Chief Executive Officer for health programs, providing strategic direction for the management and growth of PSI's Health Solutions business area. He also supports the Chief Operating Officer in overseeing operational execution of all health information technology programs for the company.

Prior to joining PSI, Mr. Snyder had a successful career as a healthcare administrator within the Navy Medical Service Corps. After providing consulting services to TMA for two years, he reentered government service as Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager, and finally as the Deputy Program Executive Officer for the Joint Medical Information Systems, TRICARE Management Activity; where he provided oversight and management of all information technology programs for the Military Health System. Mr. Snyder has managerial and technical expertise in program management, federal procurement, resource management, requirements management, business process re-engineering, and change management.

Throughout his career, Mr. Snyder has been dedicated to critical healthcare initiatives that have transformed business processes. A certified Project Management Professional, he believes that success is ultimately about developing solutions that deliver required capabilities and exceed user expectations for better information and improved work flow processes.

Mr. Snyder received his Bachelor's degree in Management from Park University, a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Washington, and certification as a Healthcare Executive from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
