Release Manager

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate's core responsibilities will include, but not to be limited to:

  • Organizing, directing, and managing scheduling activities related to building and maintaining software releases for their promotion to the production environment.
  • Managing and supervising personnel involved in release management and scheduling activities.
  • Organizing and assigning responsibilities to subordinates.
  • Overseeing the successful completions of all assigned tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 10+ years’ experience in relevant field. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience with automated configuration management/code management systems.
  • Must possess a strong technical background in information technology management.
  • Strong process knowledge of System Development Life Cycles.
  • Strong program and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate selected must be able to successfully pass an extensive Government background investigation.
