Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
This position will assist complex animal research projects as outlined by IACUC and ACURO approved protocols. This person is responsible for assisting with planning and scheduling animal experiments. He/she will work with the research residents and PI to analyze data for each project and participate in manuscript and DOD report preparation. This person will assist with creating and maintaining budgets for new and current grants.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel).
- U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate selected must be able to successful pass an extensive client background investigation.
- Experience with large and small animal protocols.
- Proficiency with operation of large animal operating room equipment and preventive maintenance.
