PSI Awarded Contract to Provide Web-Based Training Solution to United States Marine Corps (USMC) |

FALLS CHURCH, VA - - Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), a respected provider of information technology (IT) solutions and services to the federal government, announces it has been awarded a contract by the USMC to create a web-based training (WBT) solution for Transactional Users of the Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS). The one-year contract has a total value of $1.3 million if all options are exercised.
TFSMS is the Marine Corps' authoritative source for Tables of Organization and Equipment (TO&E). Under the terms of this contract, PSI and its team members, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and Business Information Technology Solutions (BITS), will design and build a WBT solution based on existing instructor-led materials, and integrate this training for 12,000 users throughout the TFSMS. The enhanced learning system will include a web-based portal to allow online reviews of courseware and visibility into project execution and schedule. This initiative vastly improves the current classroom-based TFSMS application training by redefining the curriculum so learners complete only the specific modules they need. The secured web accessibility also makes these new training materials available 24x7 for both first-time learners and refresher purposes.
