PSI Awarded $5.4 Million Contract to Support Department of Defense Blood Donor Management System |

Team Will Provide a Technical Solution to Assist DoD in Delivering Worldwide Patient Care
ARLINGTON, VA - Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), a respected provider of information technology solutions and services to the federal government, announced it has been awarded a contract worth nearly $5.4 million by the Department of Defense (DoD) to provide services, materials, and software for a Blood Donor Management System that will automate and improve the current system. The contract has a one-year period of performance.
Under this contract, PSI, as part of the Thundercat Team, will provide a solution to improve the effectiveness in managing aspects of the blood donation process such as donor screening, collection, testing, inventory management, record-keeping, and security for military blood donors, their dependents, and other civilian donors worldwide.
