Planned Systems International Wins Contract to Provide Enterprise-Wide Provider Database to Military Health System |

COLUMBIA, MD - Planned Systems International, Inc. (www.plan-sys.com), a leading provider of information technology (IT) solutions and services, announced it has been awarded a $2.5M contract to develop and implement an Enterprise-Wide Provider Database (EWPD) for the Military Health System (MHS). PSI's value-added services will help facilitate excellence across the MHS Enterprise by integrating functions that consolidate provider data. This includes designating source information systems and cross-linking them to multiple business operations, processes and applications.
Under the contract, a team led by PSI will provide a wide variety of technical services to the MHS including technical management, system design, system development, system/subsystem integration, and formal testing. These services will assist the MHS in achieving its objectives of integrating source information systems and cross-linking Provider Data to multiple business operations.
