PSI Awarded $70 Million Task Order to provide Department of Veterans Affairs Testing Service Support |

FALLS CHURCH, VA - Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), a respected provider of information technology (IT) solutions and services to the federal government, today announced it has been awarded a task order by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (IT), Office of Enterprise Development (OED) to provide support services for the Testing Service branch of the Software Engineering Office for the VA OI&T/OED. The task order has a one year base period of performance and four one-year options with a total value of nearly $70 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in the Bay Pines/St. Petersburg, Florida area. The task order was awarded under the Military Health System D/SIDDOMS 3 Contract.
Under this task order, PSI and its team members Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and Systems Made Simple (SMS) will support all areas of Testing Service daily operations in the VA's mission to promote standardization, improve software quality, and improve the effectiveness of healthcare delivery through planned and controlled evaluation, testing, and reporting of test results. Specifically, PSI's team will provide Capacity Planning Analysis, Independent Software Verification & Validation, Testing Infrastructure, Engineering & Operations, Services Expansion Initiative Support, and Project Management support for the VA Testing Service.
