Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (CCQAS)
Project Overview
The Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (CCQAS) is a military and civilian medical workforce management and privileging system designed to maintain historical and current medical provider qualifications, certifications, and privileges.

The new version of CCQAS helps ensure the quality of medical care while managing information on the credentials, readiness status, training, and adverse privileging actions of providers at more than 500 military treatment facilities and reserve centers. Authorized users may access the system online from any place, at any time. This new system consolidates 540 separate databases of the previous client-server version and replaces six service legacy systems.

PSI Services & Results
As a Tier III vendor, PSI has been troubleshooting issues associated with the application on a continual basis. This support includes the logging and resolution of tickets that pertain to all aspects of the system, from hardware configurations to assisting with the formation of business rules and requirements for submission as new Change Requests. PSI has played a major role in the maintenance and upkeep of the server systems on which the application runs.

PSI successfully migrated the existing CCQAS SQL Server database to Oracle 9i. This included the mapping of columns and tables, data transformations, and bulk loading of data and binary files through customized scripting. PSI has also produced documentation on CCQAS as required. PSI’s documentation has been used as the basis for system certification and accreditation as well as training and briefings.

The MHS Information Technology Program Executive Office selected CCQAS as the recipient of the 2002 Team Award. Four out of five users surveyed indicated a high degree of satisfaction and acknowledged that the application significantly improves productivity.
