Project Overview
DMHRSi is an Oracle 11i based Enterprise Resource Planning solution that has been configured to support the Military Health System’s (MHS’s) Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF’s) across five functional areas: - Manpower
- Personnel
- Education and Training
- Readiness
- Labor Cost Assignment
The DMHRSi install has up to ten instances supporting development, development test, pro-duction test, training, and production.
PSI Services & Results
PSI is supporting the implementation and training of DMHRSi to approximately 300 sites and 170,000 users worldwide. The PSI data integration team has developed a variety of automated data ingest processes to continually load data from Military Service source systems as well as local data specific to the MTF at each site. PSI has been instrumental in preparing DMHRSi to receive Milestone C approval, ATO approval, and full-rate deployment approval. PSI has provided key personnel for over six years to define data conversion business rules and to gather, extract, purify, and load large amounts of data from disparate source systems. The PSI Team was also actively involved in the initial vendor/product evaluation as well as beta site implementation. PSI was selected for assessing vendor product capabilities, assisting Oracle in tuning the Oracle 11i database and application, developing DMHRSi interfaces, performing data mapping and data quality activities, planning change management, man-aging beta site implementation, and develop-ing/delivering training.
