Health Assessment Review Tool (HART) Phase 2B
Project Overview
The primary mission of the MHS is to ensure the Nation has available at all times a healthy fighting force and the ability to support DoD missions worldwide. The Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD HA) oversees the MHS and is responsible for providing a cost effective, quality health benefit of 9.1 million active duty members, retirees, survivors and their families.

A health assessment reporting system is needed to facilitate the efficient and timely capture and analysis of beneficiary self-reported health information which impacts beneficiaries across the MHS.

PSI Services & Results
PSI makes population health data input tools accessible to service members via a specific TRICARE Online (TOL) webpage. In addition, PSI ensures there will be both static and ad hoc population health reporting capabilities available to a specific set of users. PSI verifies static reports will include health indicator data such as physical activity, overweight and obesity, tobacco and substance abuse, and mental health.

In coordination with the Clinical Information Technology Program Office (CITPO), PSI provides documentation, data, and access to any components of federal information systems that it supports to assist the Government in attaining C&A. PSI performs system design and reviews for MHS systems and system components. PSI makes appropriate system modifications in order to properly merge new system enhancements with the production baseline, such that it allows for a single deployment of the updated application. PSI provides software defect correction services consisting of requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and implementation. Following Government approval of MHS systems/component designs, PSI conducts market research and procures required hardware, software, licenses, equipment, and maintenance in accordance with the Government approved Subcontracting Plan. PSI updates or provides input for the applicable Computer Based Training (CBT) applications.
