Project Overview

The mission of the TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) is to ensure delivery of military health care and managed health care services to the DoD and other beneficiaries. TMAAurora has implemented an E-Commerce Project, which provides an integrated set of financial, contract management, and acquisition support systems.

Engineering Sustainment, Engineering Enhancement, and Engineering Management for the TMA E-Commerce infrastructure and components are required to support modernization efforts.

PSI Services & Results

In accordance with DoD policy and directives, PSI performs TMA E-Commerce security compliance monitoring and provides services and expertise on existing and emerging technologies as they relate to DoD’s Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). PSI provides documentation, data, and access to components of federal information systems that it supports to assist the Government in attaining C&A. PSI performs system design and reviews for MHS systems and system components.

PSI maintains the configuration of all software, systems, and documentation in accordance with the TMA E-Commerce Configuration Management plan. PSI applies processes and procedures that ensure that all system and system component maintenance updates are designed and developed in a manner such that each application update builds on the preceding version. PSI provides systems and software troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance, including diagnosing and correcting errors, testing corrections, and deploying corrections. PSI maintains training materials for E-Commerce applications and provides application training and education.
