AHLTA-T Sustainment
Project Overivew

The Military Health System (MHS) is facing the challenge of maintaining the quality of legacy support while designing and executing a future path for the core clinical applications of CHCS and AHLTA. The PSI Team is leveraging our proven AHLTA/CHCS System Sustainment Support expertise to facilitate business process changes, ensure program continuity with uninterrupted service, implement technological advancements, and support future migration.

The AHLTA and CHCS systems provide direct support to the Providers who care for beneficiaries at the MTFs. Sustaining these systems is critical and directly impacts the level of healthcare delivered. PSI is helping DHIMS coordinate systems activities in the field.

PSI is simplifying the MHS architecture, lowering maintenance/sustainment cost, and providing data standardization.

PSI Services & Results

PSI transitioning staff and Government equipment/assets to ensure continuity of operation and accurate tracking of important CHCS/ AHLTA assets. This includes the smooth transition of the incumbent’s Integrated Service Management Center (ISMC) to our existing ITIL/ISO20000 certified Remote Infrastructure Monitoring (RIM) Center that leverages the latest automated monitoring tools for best control.

An organizational structure is being provided that aligns service functionalities to foster direct and effective communications eliminating bureaucracy. On Demand services are in place that react to changes and unplanned events with fast, precise and accurate Solutions. Just-In-Time -Repair (JITR) is responsive and anticipatory to solve any hardware related issues.

Leveraging our proven CMMI-compliant Software Engineering practices, PSI is ensuring that the software components are error free for each build/delivery/release deployed to the MTFs.

PSI is achieving technical advancements through the use of the latest automated tools to manage and monitor network performance, capacity impacts, remote problem resolution, and the deployment of error free software and properly configured hardware.

Clear liaison between the Project Manager and the Government Contracting Officer and the Technical Representative (COTR) ensures PSI is compliant with all contractual requirements.
