Telehealth
Project Overview

Developing a joint FHCC between VA and DoD is a major initiative with high visibility for both Departments. The Government will realize overwhelming benefit in the simultaneous, non-duplicative provisioning of accessible, high quality health care for both the active duty and veteran beneficiary populations. Correctly done, this joint facility will provide a template by which future joint healthcare initiatives can be modeled, thus reducing the total cost of ownership as the VA and DoD move towards a realization of the Presidential and Congressional goals of complete interoperability between the two Departments.
