Project Overview
The BMBB/TS is built around a Commercial Off–the-Shelf (COTS) FDA 510(k) cleared Class II medical device into an enterprise solution that consists of a large-scale Citrix XenApp farm, three enterprise databases, and enterprise blood and label printing servers from Digitrax. The central servers that make up the BMBB/TS are hosted at a primary DoD enterprise data center with a mirror image of the servers hosted at a separate secondary data center. The COOP infrastructure designed by PSI offers seamless failover to the secondary servers in the event the primary servers become unavailable.
