David Dougherty is a senior executive with over 35 years of leadership experience in Business Development, Operations, and Engineering. As PSI's Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Dougherty works closely with the COO and CEO to carry out the company’s vision, culture, and long-term strategy for sustained profitable growth. Working with each of PSI's operating sectors, Mr. Dougherty oversees corporate operational excellence as well as enterprise customer and partner relationship management.

Prior to joining PSI, Dave was the Vice President of DoD and Civilian Solutions at ProSphere, where he was responsible for increasing corporate revenue through the expansion of services and solutions. Dave also served as Chief Growth Officer and EVP for Operations at Unissant, Inc., where he focused on building high performing teams by realigning the federal organization for significant growth combined with service delivery excellence. Prior to joining Unissant, Dave was the Vice President of Business Development at ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company. He has a long history of success in the identification, acquisition, expansion, and retention of long-term, high-volume IT services contracts and programs in the federal government marketplace.

Dave has held executive positions with RWD Technologies, Sysorex Federal, and GTSI. He also served in program management roles for major DoD weapon systems programs at Standard Technology and Boeing.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.

When he's not at work: Dave and his wife, Jackie, live in Jacksonville. Florida. Dave serves on the Board of Directors for A Farm Less Ordinary, a 501(c)3 non-profit working with young adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Between trips to visit his two children and granddaughter, Dave enjoys golf, sailing, and spending time on the beach with his wife.
