Mr. Eric Skiff is Chief Technology Officer of Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), a certified enterprise IT solutions provider specializing in Federal Health IT.

As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Skiff is responsible for identifying opportunities and risks in delivering IT services to the company’s existing and potential customers.

Prior to joining PSI in 2018, Mr. Skiff was founder and co-owner of KINEX INC., which provided technology management and full life-cycle support for large network management, modeling and simulation, and geospatial systems since 1995. His career began in 1986 as a system engineer with IBM and continued with Cincinnati Bell Information Systems until he started his own company providing IT services to DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) clients. Over his career, Mr. Skiff has applied software development, network engineering, system administration, IT operations, cybersecurity, and program management expertise across multiple projects and organizations. His broad technical background has provided exposure to all phases of systems development life cycle, leading to an understanding of where and how to apply cybersecurity, technology, and best-business practices to build cost-effective, high-performing, resilient, and secure IT solutions.

Mr. Skiff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Throughout his 30-year career, Mr. Skiff has acquired professional certifications including CISSP-ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP, CCSP, CAP, C|EH, AWS-SAP, AWS-DOP, AWS-SAA, AWS-SOA, AWS-DVA, AWS-SCS, AWS-CLF, MCITP:EA, and PMP.

When he’s not at work? Married to Cassi, Mr. Skiff lives in Haymarket, VA with their five children. When not traveling around Northern Virginia for youth sports, including wrestling, football, lacrosse, soccer, and cheerleading, he enjoys playing piano and drums, as well as pinball machines and retro arcade games.
