Mrs. Kelly’s favorite quote that guides her work and personal activities is by Martin Luther King – “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”  Mrs. Kelly’s goal is to ensure that PSI's values -People, Service, and Integrity are consistently evident while providing service to our people and customers.

Sandy Kelly is the Chief Human Resources Officer of Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI). In this role, she is responsible for implementing and leading the overall human resources strategy for the company and its subsidiaries.

From the early days of PSI through the past couple of decades, Mrs. Kelly has worked closely with PSI's CEO and Executive Team to align the company's Human Resources (HR) initiatives with its strategic goals and objectives. Mrs. Kelly has played a key strategic role in supporting PSI's growth from less than 10 employees to well over 1,000 employees along with several subsidiary companies. Her responsibilities include providing strategic direction for the full range of human capital functions across the enterprise including acquisition/integration, organizational growth/development, HRIS/Payroll selection/implementation, designing/administering benefits and compensation, onboarding/staffing, problem resolution/avoidance, performance management, policies & practices, and training/staff development.  These functions have been a key element in support of the company's long-range strategic plan and rapid growth.

Mrs. Kelly holds certifications as a Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and designation as a Group Benefits Administrator.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in Business. Mrs. Kelly is a graduate of Leadership Howard County and has served in Board positions with the Maryland State Society for Human Resources Management, the Howard County Human Resources Society, and Leadership Howard County.

When she’s not at work: Married for over 30 years to her best friend, Scott, Sandy has passionately participated in their two children’s development into terrific young adults. She enjoyed her children’s competitive sporting events and other passions/activities. Currently, Sandy enjoys paddle boarding, boating, kayaking, skiing, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
